This time, weechonghooi – a Design & Estimation Engineer from Malaysia – share with us his Lomographic journey with his favorite camera in relation to his personality, along with a selection of his favorite shots.

Tell us something about yourself.
Diana F+ has the kind of dreamy effects that I find it suits my personality. I do daydream a lot regardless of when and where I am, including going for outdoor activities, working in office, working at home, day time, afternoon time, evening time. I am a heavy daydreamer, believe this or not, I’ve just did it again for 3 minutes ago.

So, yah, sometimes I caught exactly what I dreamt through my Diana F+, you know when you dream, you don’t see things more than 10 seconds, you can’t remember a person’s face who happened to be your best buddy for no reason in your dream, you can’t see far in dreams. In my dream, there are many uncertainties, blurry, sometimes out of focus, sometimes real sharp. Something like that.

How many Lomographic cameras do you have in your collection?
SuperSampler, LCA+ RL, Horizon Perfekt, Diana F+, Diana mini, HOLGA 120, HOLGA 135, Fisheye 2, Seagull Red/Gold edition (I love it a lot!) and the Lomokino.

Since you are a film camera fanatic, why Diana F+ is your favorite among all?
I love all of them, so it’s hard to choose one. But Diana F+ ends up to be my favorite. First of all, I love to hold any of my lomographic camera in my hand, my first impression of lomography is the “smell” instead of the looks, same goes to my Diana F+. Apart from smell, one reason why I love Diana F+ is because it looks like a toy camera yet it has the classical antiquely analogue kind of look. I think it’s just so simple yet so special.

I love how its shutter “Slashing” & “Clicking”; I love how its advance-spool “Ticking”.
Sometimes, when it’s empty. I even have the habit to click its shutter and turn its advance-spool just to hear their sound. It is very easy to use. As the matter of fact, I used to hate this camera when I first got it. My first 6 rolls had almost make me wanted to throw it away. My photos was mostly misaligned, and was out focus, etc. However, looking back to those pictures, this is what Diana F+ is to me, and this reflects my personality. Starting from then, making mistakes on Diana F+ somehow became my favorite part.

The A5 is reportedly very complex to build.
What is the "A5"? The A5 is a highly-integrated "system on a chip", designed by Apple, based on the same ARM architecture as the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The A5 is dual-core, like most Intel Macs, but still runs at 1GHz, like the original, single-core A4 iPad processor. The A5 graphics engine has been updated, too; Apple claims it is "up to 9 times faster" than the original iPad's graphics hardware. We don't know yet how much memory the iPad 2 has, but to run the new iMovie app we expect it probably has 512 MB (like the iPhone 4, twice the original iPad's memory).
Production of the A6 processor for 2012's iPads and iPhones has reportedly already begun at TSMC, and the foundry's ability to produce that processor in bulk will likely determine the iPod touch's fate. If TSMC can produce the A6 fast enough to satisfy demand for all iOS devices, the iPod touch may see a substantial upgrade next year. Otherwise, it may only move to the A5 processor once the iPad 3 comes out featuring an A6 chip, thereby alleviating strain on A5 production. Either way, unless suppliers can step up their game production-wise, it seems clear the iPod touch will lag behind its more profitable brethren for some time to come.

The body can shoot at 12fps with AF, or 14fps with mirror-lockup and features twin CF card slots.
The autofocus system has also been redesigned to feature a 61-point high-density reticular autofocus technology alng with an 'Intelligent Tracking and Recognition' system which Canon claims is ideal for event photography.
Canon has confirmed that the EOS-1D X will hit retail around March 2012, and while UK pricing isn't yet available has quoted a recommend retail price in the US of $6,800 (around £4,316) as a body-only system.

3. Recalibrate the Smart Battery first , you have to check that the system is on AC power ,second, switch off the system, and then leave the system overnight (eight hours) to charge.after this, you will switch on the system and check that the system is still on AC power and then In Control Panel,Performance and Maintenance,Power Options,change the Power schemes to Always On. Then change all settings under 'Running on batteries'to Never and click OK. the last five steps: 1.Click the Power Meter tab,and check that the battery is at 100%.
2.Now remove the AC adaptor plug and switch off the AC adaptor power at the mains supply.
3.Time how long the system remains powered. You can use a utility to log the time to the hard disk at regular intervals (see Other Useful Articles below).
4.After the system has switched itself off (usually by a self-controlled Shutdown),connect the AC adaptor again and switch on the power to recharge the battery.
5.Leave for eight hours to fully recharge.
